Here's my real car
I was wondering what Letterman was up to these days.
I threatened my parents with a bill for my aunt K and uncle B after they berated me for not planning to invite them to our wedding.
Or, to spin it differently: The Altima V6 gets the same mileage while producing significantly more power than the 2L turbo in the Fusion and going 0-60 a full half a second faster, so Ford is useless?
Don’t forget the Loyalists who fled the US to Canada (and elsewhere)! Thousands fled the 13 former colonies and even filed formal claims of loss with the Empire. Good times.
Sorry. If that was the intent, I have to imagine it would have been 'udderly'.
Is it a myth, or a stereotype?
Not to disagree with your points, but I think you missed the joke in the $15/$16 one.
A limited slip differential is a huge, huge help in getting the power down. It would be rather interesting to compare the performance pack and the non-performance pack GTIs figures.
“There are also electronic differential locks (EDS), which apply brakes to the wheel with the least traction, thereby sending torque to the wheel that can better put the power down.”
Yes, I'm sure this is just a mistake they need to correct.
215 hp 6speed manual with FWD and an LSD at only 3000ish pounds? Good hot hatch formula there. Doesn't sound as good as a Fist, but not bad!
Yeah, no kidding! What, 4-5 grand less? Yikes. Maybe there’s an interior trim difference?
Original price was $60k. And who expects a $2000 transmission flush as regular maintenance?!
I mean, a normal G550 is over 100k.
Yeah, my point exactly! In the defense of the US, they’re the only ones doing anything close to realistic fuel economy testing, and they do report average cycle numbers in gal/100 miles on the fueleconomy.org website.
I think we’re all struggling to find the correct automotive metaphor for a big cruising Harley. I’m going to propose the following:
Seems like the wrong car to compare it against again! Perhaps a four door Wrangler Sport?
They worked on reducing the price after this incident, but yeah:
Well, the first buyers were understandably shocked at the $2000 transmission oil change at 10k.
