Smart cars are Mercedes, if you want to brand drop. And..

'Trying to pass a truck on a snow caked highway' is called 'going skiing' in my windy, prairie-foothills-and-Rockies neck of the woods :-)

1-Awesome save!

Perfectly reasonable roadtripper? Hah, don't think so. Even with the gas motor, you've got a max range of 200 miles. But you'll be blown off the highway far earlier-it's got the same cross section as a Fit, but uses tiny low rolling resistance tires. Every truck and cross breeze will be schincter clenching.

Good lord, that was crazy as hell.

7.) Prius Ladies

From the video, it appears to be a profile view of the engine controller for the electric turbos. Yeah, you heard me.

Oh, she didn't care much about my car. She went out and bought a Legacy GT.

Any thoughts on the four-wide drag racing that was recently introduced? Instinctually it feels less safe to me (harder to access the center lanes, more options to cross lanes) but maybe that's misplaced. Have you been able to try it?

Haha, awesome. I love the 'I'm comfortable, I meant to do this' look on his face :-)

Tried to post photos of Lenny-he has white spots too. The second photo is him next to Sam, our little 11 pound cat :-)

My god, that could be my cat. Well, not quite big enough...but the colouring is perfect.

In my experience, it's about keeping the flow turbulent as it travels down the pipe. You could mix it, you could add pigs inbetween, but keeping it turbulent seems to work.

Just one note-this pipeline anecdote isn't quite right. Oil pipelines do, in fact, return the exact molecules put into them; oil is refined into a lot of different products, and while some mixing occurs, pipelines endevour to keep batches separate.

Don't sell yourself short, that was excellent!

Claimed 0-60 is over 7 seconds, and the range-including a gas engine-is less than 200 miles. The CTS-V got abuse for a bigger range than that. And while it may 'feel' quick, it isn't actually fast. It can't hit 100 mph, it can't drive as far as a Model S, it understeers a lot.

Any more satisfying way you can describe it? From what I've seen, it's a car focused hugely on interesting materials, which is great, but it seems like when it comes down to, you know, being a functional object, it's significantly compromised. Tiny vehicle, pizza cutter wheels, no power, mediocre range, high price,

Have you seen the kit prices? My god! $6k!

$10,000 per job to the tune of $40 million. It's clear Texas was serious about getting Toyota, and it's probably going to end up as a major economic victory for the state. Texas' lack of corporate and income taxes are good news for the automaker as well.
