I've been holding my breath so long on this release that I've stopped looking forward to it.

@redman042: This exploit is hardware based. The exploit must be unique to the boot rom in the newer devices.

Oh god please no Russia jokes.

This is when you know that wrist watches aren't really needed anymore. They should sell these things with a bottle of tylenol.

@helixjo1: Just make a trip to Home Depot and ask for the titanium screws and some super glue.

@Stem_Sell: You had a good run for the first 3/4 of that, but the espresso joke was pure cheese.

Wait another 10 years and we'll be grafting in bone grown in a petri dish instead of this titanium foam.

Basically they are checking if two frequency data sets (hashsum organized) are orthogonal (in the same direction) for a frequency range. It's the hashsum part that is innovative here since it can efficiently organize songs and allow cross checking to the input song with a much smaller index of comparison songs

Why are companies issuing apologies for stuff like this? They knew exactly what they were doing and why they did it. An apology is meaningless.

It would be better if there were mozerella cheese and pepper shakers in the warp drive chambers.

If you hop into the X10 or Insteon programmable controller scene then you'll really be able to manage stuff like this. For example, you could have a device turn off if a motion sensor hasn't been activated within a programmed amount of time. It can get much more robust than that, but that's a good example.

@Vanilla-Terror: From the point of view of the mice, we are gods.

This kind of chart will show up on just about any large engineering contract involving multiple tiers of contractors. Most large companies have charts like this to detail their workflow process. That being said, they always make my eyes bleed.

AirVideo already streams videos from your computer with live transcoding to quicktime format. That's not music and photos, but there's gotta be an app out there that does most of this already.

Those old exos were not feasible from a weight standpoint which made them unworkable for many tasks. There are workable exoskeletons possible now. They are a bit limited in smooth range of motion across different activities and they are pretty heavy (300 lbs), but I think within 15 years we will have some workable,

If the laser is on the helicopter then I'd be a bit worried if the missile followed the laser, unless it is dangled from the landing gear a few feet or something like that while in flight.

@Spartanical: OMG, I remember that G.I. Joe plus parachute. I'd throw it up in the air for hours. Now companies probably don't make stuff like that because they're too worried some kid would choke on the parachute cords.

@DongDingTheWitchLives: I really think it's not possible to put a high resolution camera in that thin case. I'm sure Apple was perfectly fine with that since they can have something to improve in the next generation once small lens imaging technology catches up.
