The first season was one of the best arguments for weekly drops as opposed to the “dropping it all at once” model IMO, because it not only let so many viewers get on board, I was genuinely anticipating the final episode, days out. And then for that last half of the episode to just... go there. *chef’s kiss*

I’m glad that a series about how a giant evil corporation with too much power ruins the world is going to get a second season thanks to a giant evil corporation with too much power that is ruining the world.

I mean it won’t be a glorious death but if Douglas really wants out I’m sure Ant-Man 4 can open with the characters leaving Pym’s funeral because he’s an old man and sometimes old folks just die. Please hire me, Disney for more million dollar ideas like this. I’ve got other ideas like “recasting roles for problematic

There were plenty of vapid one-hit wonders and temporary sensations that time forgot because they were ultimately forgettable.

Bell’s father broke my heart on that show - he did nothing but look after his child, he saw exactly what was going to happen and warned everyone around him something was wrong, and he just got pushed to one side.

Being honest here. Got to the end of the first paragraph about the episode, and will be back after I’ve watched it myself.

I’m not talking about making concessions to terrorists - quite the opposite actually. I’m talking about making the terrorists seem much worse in comparison. Israel’s policies have left a vacuum that has allowed Hamas to sweep in an provide while pretending to be doing the hard work of “fighting for the people.”

After succeeding, Jonathan followed up with the “stop hitting yourself” bit on Christopher for the next 10 minutes, until Mom and Dad pulled the car over

It’s so weird that a terrorist organization that claims to be fighting for the people against an apartheid nation who has kept them locked in an imposed third-world state for decades enjoys widespread support.

Israel could very easily defeat Hamas by building hospitals instead of bombing them, but then the “we’re

Not really “lesser of two evils”. More like one evil and one that is just kind of disappointing but ultimately won’t destroy everything.

That sucks that people get that way. I like to think that if I were ever that rich I’d just fade away in my house built of money and sleep in my bed made of money and fly around in my plane made of money and no one would ever hear from me again. I can’t imagine what it must be like to be that desperate to be liked. I

“Both sides" cry the people with nothing to lose

I can’t assume to know what Johnson was thinking with this statement but loudly not endorsing the guy you endorsed last time makes a pretty big statement.   Honestly best he said nothing at all.

So you’re an idiot. Good to know.

Right? I get that we are truly in the darkest timeline of presidential candidates, but this is still an easy choice. Hell, even if he wanted to say he was voting for a third party candidate he could say that, but if you can’t even go on record as saying you’re not voting for trump...that’s psychopath levels of

And like, that’s fine? He doesn’t have to endorse someone if he doesn’t want to I guess, but what really chaps me about it is how he really *thinks* he’s being a hero here. “My goal is to bring this country together.” Like fuck you, dude. What hubris to think you personally have the power to bring the country together

“Dakto Johnson” is what George Lucas would have named her anyway.

We know that Sony has the resources to make not Spider-Man Spidey movies. We know they can make them bad. Do they have the moxie to make the sure fire lollapalooza that a Turner D. Century production would be?

Trying to hold this up as “camp” always seemed like try hard. It’s lazy, uninspired, and just outright poorly made in a lot of spots. Camp requires intentionality. It’s okay to enjoy shitty things without needing to justify it, that’s why McDonald’s is still in business.
