I have to admit, I’m sorry I did not know more about Qanon and how absolutely bat shit dangerous it is. For those who dont know this guy did a great video explaining it, why people buy into this shit and how/why it is so effective. It’s long, but worth the watch.

In the bay area around Christmas time by Bro-In-Law was visiting and was sick as a dog and had “the flu”. A week or so later my wife was home with me and got seriously ill with similar flu like symptoms and associated cough and trouble breathing. Rona was totally unknown to us in early January. I was regularly flying

I’m sure Trump will lend his good friend Kim his magic marker to redraw the path of the storm.

I just bought the Anker Liberty Air 2 thanks to this article and I like them so far, but the fit regardless of tips I use is not great.  I have an ear canal that insist on ejecting anything I put in it.  Do you have an amazon link to the custom bud tips you made?  I’d love to get something that fits better and is more

It always feels strange when I am working in Canada and they announce over the PA that the engineer is fixing the plane.  I sit there and think to myself “no way did I got to school good enough or long enough to be called an engineer, anyway back to fishing out somebody’s phone from the shitter”

Air plane mechanic here. In our industry, mostly outside the US, mechanics are referred to as engineers.  In fact the term mechanic is slowly losing usage too and being replace with technician, but engineer is a legit term for mechanic in most of the world.

It is seriously one of the best sound tracks EVER made for a movie. It truly escalated Daft Punk from a band I know and listen to, to an artist I respect immensely for their extremely high talent skill. I would love to see a follow up album from this movie if for no other reason.

Yes, it has felt that way, but I was optimistic in the past that maybe things might change, that maybe people will wake up. I still think its possible but very unlikely at this point. The great experiment that is the USA, I fear, is coming to its final conclusion. We as a people for what ever reason have become so

All the warning signs that it’s time to leave this country are illuminated with neon and flashing lights.  When Trump “wins” his next term it’s time to go.

Plus if you shop there enough, and there is no reason you should not, get the executive membership. They literally pay me to shop there. In my family of 2, we spend way more than enough and get 2% back on everything we buy that comes back to us in a check at the end of the year. I usually get about $200 back, yeah,

I feel like the middle of this article was deleted before it was posted.  Come on giz, you guys are better than this, get put some effort into this.

But they can’t make them not fail. You’re talking about a component that gets blasted with high pressure air (100+psi) @ over 500F for years on end, day after day.  Failures are going to happen.  That’s why planes have to be maintained, otherwise they become unreliable and fall out of the sky.  Everything on a plane,

I dont see it failing mid flight.  Once a check valve is set in it’s intended position, IE, both engines running, technically the check valve would be set in the correct position.  Now if you have an inflight shutdown, combined with an attempted restart, the dead engine might not restart due to a then potential failed

Airplane mechanic checking in here. This is no outside the parameters of normal usage or in this case lack of usage (airplanes in storage). The 5th state bleed air check valve is a spring loaded plunger like check valve who’s purpose is to prevent back flow of 5th stage bleed air from the other bleed systems on the

I must hate myself, but I have built up an arsenal of tech to basically fit my mood. I have a Surface Pro 7, that’s throw in the bag computer. An old iPad Air 2 that’s my reading around the house device, a desktop that dual boots windows and linux (manjaro 90% of the time), and a work laptop that stays at work that

The default email clients for windows and mac work pretty well.  I hear good things about MailSpring but have not used it personally.  Maybe hit up reddit to get some feedback.  Good luck!

The good ol’ days.  I remember geo-cities and coding html to make the worst fucking website in the world, but it was magical.  Back in the mid 90's I remember the only way to get images online was to scan them.  The concept of an entirely digital production process of media capture was almost unheard of.  I recall

It would be nice to see an email client with a clean UI.  Geary is the closes thing, but it’s not quit there yet; it does not do 4k resolution great and thus is super tiny and hard to read even with scaling enabled.  I like the modern conversation view style of email client, but a lot of them like thunderbird are

Linux is gettin good. I daily drive it.  Funny enough, the thing in linux i cant find a good solution for is email believe it or not. Most of the linux mail clients suck balls.
