The default email clients for windows and mac work pretty well.  I hear good things about MailSpring but have not used it personally.  Maybe hit up reddit to get some feedback.  Good luck!

Linux is gettin good. I daily drive it.  Funny enough, the thing in linux i cant find a good solution for is email believe it or not. Most of the linux mail clients suck balls.
