Lol they’d get an old Mercedes platform

Well, Chrysler was actually pretty strong before Daimler came in and basically cannibalized it for its money, and Daimler came out relatively unscathed from the whole thing. So it’s not quite the same thing.

Why would VW merge with FCA? They’d get almost nothing out of that and there’d be massive incompatibility between the two companies in terms of design, branding, manufacturing, and quality.

“Cheap to buy”

1st Gear:

If they really want to tease you about the future release of this car, they should show it wrapped around a tree.

405 is the number of fucks, in millions, that no one gives about this car. It’ll be bought by old guys who want to cash in in 20 years, and you’ll never even see one at a dragstrip.

I do not agree with your sentiment.

In a debate between cyclists and dog owners about entitlement to public space, who would be the most insufferable? Whichever one is a vegan and/or crossfitter, I assume.

But I want to follow my dream of spending $40k a year to go to a private school to learn how to dance!

Also basic economics: you get more of what you subsidize.

You’re going to get heat for this but it’s a good post and there’s truth in it.

Facts. The irony here is in this very article Ford needs people with a specific professional skill set that they apparently aren’t enough of. Stop getting useless degrees because it’s “speaks to you”. Get degrees that are in demand. That’s real life. If you say “I could never do something I don’t love”, then never

Id go drive them both, havent seen many better built models from bmw recently. It’s been the opositte. I have to also say you are mistaken about the interior.

This will have FAR better resale then some run of the mill 4 series and I doubt they’ll have any trouble selling them at MSRP.

Keep engineering cars to combat stupid, you’re just engineering the next level of stupid.

I am tempted to test drive a Guilia, but Alfa’s reputation for quality, and the fact that if the car breaks down I am a 75 mile flatbed ride away from the nearest dealer, had kept me from doing so.

Good for Michigan. I can think of no better place to test autonomous vehicles than the 12 months of construction, potholes, random traffic jams, and vehicle destruction that is I-94.

In fairness, any frigate that shoots spiders and snakes at their enemies is pretty badass.
