Can anyone tell me if virtual XP will run in Parallels with the lid closed on an MBpro connected to a Cinema Display? Can't be done in BootCamp, not that you would want to because of the aforementioned heat issue.

So will running XP virtually in Parallels 3.0 instead of running in BootCamp directly reduce the scorching heat my MBpro puts out?
