It’s not that we can’t design it. It’s that we can’t muster up the political will to pay for it. And by “pay” I mean fund it and take on the political/human risks associated with such a capability.

Oh lordy did that swedish centre back have a brain cramp there. Step forward and leave the only player in a dangerous position open for the through ball.... good idea. Either that’s a horrible mistake, or she just didn’t have enough respect to think the player could make that pass.

Serious push? More like a little bump. As a central defender you can’t let that happen, ever. With that and the goalie standing there with her arms out, no good defending in that sequence.

“You can’t have a world cup in Morocco, it’s a savage arab country for chrissakes..... although I did meet an extremely kind and generous Qatari gentleman this one time....”

Now that you’re all unioned up, are all of the Kinja deals going to be MADE IN USA?

No, it’s not fuel costs that are driving towards twinjets, it’s the technological advancement that opens up the option to have a twinjet config in more aircraft classes. Maybe, depending on the standard of the game being set, but I’d argue that he did make a reasonable challenge for the ball. It could be a yellow, but it’s up to how the ref wants

Jesus christ, the title makes it sound as though the poor guy was submarined into the wall. The video shows some contact for sure, but not any malicious intent. It’s a routine play if not for the fact that a concrete wall is steps from the edge of a professional pitch.

Did you watch the video? Check it at 0:20 or so. Colli splayed out to the left side like he wasn’t even looking.... he hit more than one spectator, and if he had somehow managed to avoid them he would have hit the barrier about a meter or two up the road. He’s an idiot for trying to pass there, what on earth was he

So that’s where they store Al Davis’ preserved brain.... mystery solved!

I didn’t know the NHL had female refs....

Since when did Lansing, Michigan sports talk radio become a reliable source for anything? The depths to which everyone will go now to get a scoop and the resultant hot take.......

Them be chastity tan lines.

Given how static the Coulombs are, it's shocking how electric they can be!
