I just watched a 15 min interview of Skloot on Chicago PBS last night(reran from when they originally did it when the book came out). Did not see any signs of white savior. She seemed to be sympathetic to all sides and explain it in the time period.

yeah usually if they have two large bags. drop the first off up front and then you can pretend it’s your only bag and put your other in the overhead by your seat.

I also like that everyone is inherently equal. Besides the few business people, but they get the exact same seat as you. I know that if i don’t want to play the 24 hour check in game, it’s only $15. If i want to upgrade at the gate its 30-40. It makes things attainable. If I completely forgot about checking in…

I’m 6-3, 260lbs and my wife is much much much smaller, so she usually takes the middle while I take the aisle and it makes it 10x more enjoyable because we can lift the arm rest up and “share” legroom/seat space. If I was short and skinny, I would not give a single fuck.
