some good eats here.
as much as I love physical media...yeah the writing was on the wall. games will be next on the chopping block. when the court documents leaked about the next series X having no disc drive the justification was that more than 70% of the games bought for xbox in 2022 were digital purchases. the market for physical is in…
you are leaving out the far harder part of this. the color palletes that lead up to the levels where you can actually trigger the kill screen are notoriously hard. Dusk has a lot of dark colours that are hard to see and charcoal quite literally has black and dark grey for the pallete so you can’t actually tell some of…
that clyote vs acme movie sounds amazing. hopefully we get to see it.
the big thing is that at this point it is unlikely we will ever see another extension of any meaningful amount to copyright time. we might see it extended ton100 years at some point just for easier math but otherwise the stringedt proponent of extending copyright no longer has a reason to.
aside from putting JL and man of steel as the worst my list matches pretty close to this. I also never watched the flash as boy howdy I just could not get past the effects.
in defense of rings of power a lot of that has to do with bit crunch with streaming. they clearly didnt shoot it as if it was going to be watched primarily through streaming which really bit them in the ass. not even getting into how each personal streaming device outputs slightly differently and each screen us also…
except then you have the reeves batman film which is still largely at night but still uses color effectively. the snyder vision of pulling the saturation of every shot down so low that he might as well have just shot it in b+w killed a lot of the visual flair and spectacle for dc movies imo.
I’m sorry but man of steel was one of the worst dceu movies for me. characters make nonsense decisions to push the plot along and the drab colors make it boring to look at. I would put both JL versions, man of steel, and BvS as the absolute bottom four. at least every other film either looks nice or is written better.
yep, in a fight between godzilla and ghidorah Im rooting for godzilla. better for it to just destroy tokyo instead of the whole world.
i was diamond for a number of seasons across multiple heroes before getting tired of the toxicity and shifting to the arcade and quickplay. I also had at least 20 hours with every character up through OW2. the game took a turn after role queue and it was all downhill from there.
100%. The fact that it was only available where it was marketable means it was purely a business decision and not a moral one.
i highly disagree with that. team composition and variety took a massive hit going to 5v5. Like the difference in number of ptotential team compositions went from millions to thousands. This has lead to a pretty boring gameplay loop from my experience. before while taking out a healer or a tank was beneficial it…
someone doesn’t know what parody and fair use is.
exactly, no one should be going in expecting spiderverse here.
the idea of stadia wasn’t bad. the execution was. You can see a successful version of stadia in gamepass cloud. where microsoft actually thought out the nitty gritty and made it an additional benefit to their other service.
This person really didnt have much to stand on. Rings of power wasn’t even a sequel to ROTK. They were basically trying to sue over minor details instead of actual infringement.
the problem is that sadly the academy mainly consists of old white dudes that all are from the “big money” hollywood industries. You see respect for the medium here and there but most see animation as easy when in reality it’s far more difficult than live action.
I think the real answer is that the offer microsoft put forward was too low ($5 million which at the time they would be negotiating this makes sense since it would have been before the game had been fully revealed and interest soared) and after release they were in a good enough position as a studio that they didn't…
yeah i am not sure what headline they pulled that from.
