yes and no. originally up through windwaker there was no timeline at all. only certain games were sequels but no connected thread it wasnt until they got tired of being asked about the timeline that they put one together for the hyrule historia while actively breaking the timeline whenever convenient.

The issue is that everyone is sprinting to make their mcu equivalents including disney. the reason the mcu worked is because each film stands alone aside from the sequels and even then most of them can be enjoyed without seeing the others...until endgame tied up everything and disney decided they wanted endgame money

was going to say I feel like wish at least is logically followable. meanwhile kingdom hearts is an absolute nonsense trainwreck of a storyline...so typical square.

I would not got that far (Brotherhood was the pinnacle imo) but syndicate was a solid title and I think was the best implementation of the rpg elements into the AC formula (skill trees and some level range enemies in certain areas but you could still assassinate regardless of level.) Also the train just blew my mind

actually it was not made illegal to produce until 2003. there were quite a few loopholes in the obscenity law from 1907.

i believe it is still in place.

it’s too bad they don’t feel the same way about child pornography. the author for Rurouni Kenshin was caught with thousands of pieces of child pornography and got a slap on the wrist fine of less than a dollar per article with no other detriments. He was even abke to resume publishing his manga in shonen jump. a

you have to turn it on in the rare replay menu but basically it lets you aim and move. still chunky compared to modern fps but much better than the side straffing controls. only exception is the final boss which is actually easier with the straffing controls.

So you know how in the US even a little sexuality gets a game an M rating? The same is true in Japan for any game that allows killing civillians. In Goldeneye you can kill scientists and in Jet Force Gemini you can kill the civillians.

they actually fixed them immensely. I completed the game on rare replay.

so I would definitely say that part of the reason financially it didn’t do well is that this year films have struggled pretty hard to get butts in seats. you have two films hitting that billion dollar mark compared to pre-pandemic 2019 where we had 9 films pass the 1 billion dollar mark.

I mean it makes sense. He can do a lot of solid variety that a lot of the time you don’t even notice it is him until you get it pointed out. Like the voice he does in wish is very similar to the one he does in harley quinn as clayface but you would never know he also voices the joker in that series.

Yeah I think the main things that are keeping HQ going is that

Just because something was prevalent does not mean we need to include it if it is problematic. Dumbo is set right during the era of minstral shows but obviously we don’t need that to be included since it would be hella fucked up.

The term you are looking for is the daddyverse. Pedro pascal is the internet's dad.

100% agree. The biggest problems with ww84 is the sexual assault plot point and the pointless cheetah subplot. The rest of the movie is actually a pretty great 80's style superhero flick with a villain whose evil plan actually puts a smart twist on the monkey paw curse.

Right which I think we agree on. This was basically Epic throwi g a book at both trying to get better terms and somehow google fucked that up by doing the dumbest thing possible destroying evidence. Epic may win this purely on that alone.

No they succeeded at the biggest point they wanted. Part of the ruling required apple to open the walled garden to 3rd party app stores. Something Apple is still appealing. That opens the door for the epic store to have an app store on ios like they can on android. They dont get to go back onto the ios app store but

Man google is really shitting the bed here. Normally all they would need to donis point out the result of the apple lawsuit and that android already complies with the decisions presented there but instead with this they may end up having to completely overhaul their marketplace because they ignored a legal requirement.

Yep especially when competive non-physical sports use a much different way of looking for cheating compared to physical sports where you can go "oh yeah he touched the florbus with his dorbus. Red flag pe alty." The overeatch program for cs-go is an easy example. Skilled players rate the likelyhood that cheating is
