Yep, I expect a LOT of unions forming up in the coming year at microsoft which is a good thing across the board for the industry.

Finally. I am not a fan of big companies getting biggger but actbliz was a cesspool and the only company capable of buying them with any track record of fixing hr problems is microsoft.
Honestly not a bad deal but there have been much better deals as well including an apparent fire sale of the 512 GB series S coming for Black friday (if the leaked plan still holds true)
The problem is that currently that tax credit HAS to be applied to your tax return. which means you need to be able to convince a financial institution to give you the full price of the vehicle and then you have to pay interest on that full loan (plus whatever increase in the interest rate itself you get due to the…
good to see this finally getting off the ground. hopefully they eventually add other platforms. My prior experience with game streaming (OnLive, Stadia, XCloud) has actually been fairly great. OnLive was obviously latency hell but for 2011 it worked. Stadia did decently, but XCloud works incredibly well, whatever…
Nerds Rope is the true king of rope candy.
Honestly at this point I think the game might just be dead. They are just throwing things at the wall trying to fix problems they themselves keep creating.
I’m glad that they are making the disc drive detachable. hopefully microsoft follows suit as I think that’s going to make it a lot easier for people to choose a console that’s right for them if they have an option to upgrade it later.
The problem with the XBone launch was less that Microsoft was doing nonsense and more that they really misunderstood their audience. when you actually look at WHY they were doing no used games sales, where you could share your library with up to 9 friends, it was actually really pre-consumer but of course we didn’t…
You drove there didn’t you? Then your face and your license plate are already in a database that is tracking the places you visit and what you buy. Then data aggregators are buying all the piece meal data and forming data packs that are then sold to advertisers and other companies to better target you with products.
Accept regardless that data is going to be harvested whether you like it or not. Might as well get something of value oit of the deal.
It actually wouldn’t cost much, we already have 90% of the system in place thanks to social security and disability payment processing. The only real costs would derive from setting up access via an online portal and passing legislation that requires banks and credit unions to perform the transactions as a…
The big thing with the older bolts is to watch out for the ones that don’t have DC fast charging. Mine doesn’t but I also use it exclusively as a town car so it’s not a big deal for me. I think it was 2019 when they made that feature standard in the base model as my 2017 bolt does not have the DC fast charging.
The problem with the leafs is that the cooling and battery composition is pretty rough so a lot of the older examples while rated for 84 miles of range they tend to be half that or worse. they can be great little commuter cars but especially in colder regions the older ones are very risky as you can end up stranded.
Honestly I would love to see this more often, like an appetizer sampler but for sides and for a single person.
Hot Take: I believe we should strive towards a cashless society.
I actually disagree, I much prefer mobile apps for ordering food compared to order at the intercom. with an app I don’t have to try and explain what I want I just set everything and it’s on the ticket in a way that the person producing my order can understand.
if it were a massive fee I would be mad but most mom and pop shops near me just apply the fee they get to the customer when they use plastic (4%) which doesn’t amount to much at a fast food joint. So I really don’t mind it. plastic is just way more convenient and especially for the tap and pay it’s way more secure…
My company is the same way, a lot of people found remote work to be their ideal work environment so they downsized the local office to a smaller but ritzy-er location
Basically what it amounts to is Krispy Kreme has made some poor decisions the past couple of years so while the insomnia cookies stake is making them money they want to sell it now while it is a hot commodity to try and right the doughnut ship with the additional capital.
