Hot Take: I believe we should strive towards a cashless society.

I actually disagree, I much prefer mobile apps for ordering food compared to order at the intercom. with an app I don’t have to try and explain what I want I just set everything and it’s on the ticket in a way that the person producing my order can understand.

if it were a massive fee I would be mad but most mom and pop shops near me just apply the fee they get to the customer when they use plastic (4%) which doesn’t amount to much at a fast food joint. So I really don’t mind it. plastic is just way more convenient and especially for the tap and pay it’s way more secure

My company is the same way, a lot of people found remote work to be their ideal work environment so they downsized the local office to a smaller but ritzy-er location

Basically what it amounts to is Krispy Kreme has made some poor decisions the past couple of years so while the insomnia cookies stake is making them money they want to sell it now while it is a hot commodity to try and right the doughnut ship with the additional capital.

Especially with the EVs coming down the tracks, I don’t see myself selling my Bolt for the next 10 years because why would I? it has pretty much every bell and whistle I need in a modern car with very little that can go wrong.

yeah I think this really boils down to a combination of expectations and clone wars / rebels interest. as someone who has watched all of the animated star wars series I really enjoyed this. I wanted more rebels and I got more rebels. my expectations are totally met.

yep, Ezra mentions on the way to the tower that Thrawn “woke up” the night sisters so the containers likely contain either night sisters that will be awakened or the preserved corpses of storm troopers to reanimate for the new army.

Glad to see but still mindboggled that they have the audacity to charge $50 for a barebones port.

sounds like it’s full yar har season for the 3ds and WiiU.

except not really, it doesn’t appear to care where you hit them so if it functions like similar effect projectiles it’s actually caring a lot less about good aim and more just getting it within the red outline. and with it being boosted by the target getting hacked then you are obviously going to want to fire it up

so tl;dr the suit failed because they tried to tie it to size rather than the actual cook of the burgers. which is why the burger king suit is going forward and this is not. I would expect a new lawsuit to come out of this at some point as the undercooking the meat to make it more appealing is definitely a misleading

Once again overwatch is watering down gameplay. This change can be boiled down to automating player choice to lower the skill ceiling while pushing the skill floor so you can touch both without moving.

I really liked the season, excited to see where they go from here.

The real solution is just making every station 350kW because the time is coming when every car is at least a 800v system.

AI is a tool and how terrible it is depends on how you use it.

The definitive answer is that yes a hot dog (hot dog + bun) is a sandwich.

yeah any gambling mechanics should be in the base game and not something you pay for or make them what they are regulated gambling.

Amalur a tually sold very well for a new ip at the time (more than 2 million units in the first week for a new ip at the time was very successful) the reason it “failed” was because one of the main investors was the state of rhode island. Between when the investment was made and the release of the game the governor

It annoys me that online merchants STILL haven’t figured this shit out.
