The Tesla Model S

the 2010s were the dawn of the modern EV.

when those who “witnessed it” only witnessed the fire and not the trigger then yes 100% a fire investigator would know way the hell more about the actual cause of the fire.

I would not put any value on the information from the persons on board. to the layman they see fire near where the EVs are and assume it was them because big battery = fire. In reality it’s possible the fire was caused by any number of things including the crew or the ship itself.

The problem is that Ubisoft needs to either figure out how to diversify all the open world games they churn out or shift a lot of them to be more linear. The rabbids games are a solid example, gameplay is starkly different to anything else ubisoft makes and while it is an “open world” it isn’t really.

I wonder if there’s a chemical compound that could be used to render the chemical reaction in the battery inert? similar to how Sodium is highly reactive to hydrogen unless Chloride is in the mix?

The thing is we don’t actually know yet whether it was an EV fire or not. the problem with any fire on a boat is the spread is fast and the people on board are not trained to really fight fires aside from extremely small kitchen fires. Last year we had a ship filled with non-EV luxury cars catch fire as well.

Honestly given the age of when the batteries were originally made if you swapped them with modern cells it would probably have a much better range. you could also probably switch the motor out with a stronger AC motor without too much effort if you really wanted to get it to hit 100 MPH.

Counter-argument: Freshly Ground Honey Roasted Peanut Butter from Fresh Thyme. that coarse ground and sweetness is pretty fantastic.

There’s a reason everyone is on twitch even though they take 70%, same goes for amazon, Youtube, and every other platform. the level of visibility and the volume of users is not something you can grow outside the gardens anymore.

*splash* yep still wet.

Makes sense it was seized, I’d be too if I had 500 lbs of cocaine in my system.

I didn’t read the first slide and I am far too lazy to go back and check. is there a reason that only Creamy was chosen for this list? because crunchy is the way to go and the lack of crunchy offerings means the headline is just straight false.

I mean two of those are likely in the near future. 300 mile range highway is unlikely given that range plummets when the wind resistance goes up.

I mean that’s really not a difficult hurdle to hop over either. anyone with half a brain is going to touch up any AI art they use, clean up a few lines here and there as well as remove any extra hands as necessary. which is going to bunk up the stenographic data if they were to use a public facing AI. if they’re smart

Raimi: "I know the script just says "scarlet witch defeats the illuminati" but I have some ideas that involve watermelons and cheese graters..."

I am actually all for rebooting rough franchises with interesting bones. Why do we need to remake lilo and stitch in live action when treasure planet is sitting there begging for the pg-13 pirates of the carribean treatment!

I feel like spiderman works because the expectation is that any sequels to the old films would be single outings just to tie up loose ends while also being distinct enough from one another that it isnt confusing.

What in getting from this is if you do want to use AI art you just have to lie and deny.

Everything I am seeing so far looks really good. it also looks like she might be getting multiple powers? I saw sparklies and I saw yellow energy so it will be interesting to see what those are about.

and honestly aside from the recall taking ages it’s a pretty good deal for older bolts as well. buying a used car and having the single most expensive component warrantied for 8 years is way better than the warranties on most used cars.
