There’s a multitude of things in MEA that lack the quality and polish of the older games. The overall design of the game is considerably worse.

Obviously, the authors here have the freedom to write about what they want and bring their personality to the website. I enjoy that, and Kotaku articles, authors, and even comment sections seem much more intellectual and well thought out than most other video game news outlets.
