The reason Asia has been covering her face is because someone threatened to burn her alive out of racist hatred. She gave a quote in an interview saying she is covering her face to make a statement that she is not being seen as a person, and highlighting that by not letting herself be seen.

To be fair, I only choose the most interesting spilled items from my trove of “overturned truck” Google Alerts. So I spare you the boring fuel and gravel spills in favor of, naturally, millions of bees.

While this is a lovely thought, that she just wants to temper peoples expectations, it doesn’t seem to track with her actions over the past year.

Because the Democratic Party has been busy running away from the socialism-inspired pieces of their platform and legacy for a long time. And, hey a Cold War will justify that for while a Cold War is happening, but now? They are just so used to denying being red that they are reflexively terrified of a proud socialist.

The study uses fake methodology. Asking academics and advocates without actually consulting the data is a laughable methodology. Any top ten list that doesn’t have South Africa on it means they didn’t consult anyone with a functional knowledge of rape stats around the world.
