There are a lot of acting jobs that are difficult for a variety of reasons. I can’t see why it would be any worse for a trans actor. You’re either a professional, or you’re not.

You really can’t win with trans activists, so maybe the filmmakers just said “fuck it”. This sounds exactly like the same types of liberties, shortcuts, and omissions as any biopic takes. Nobody wants to sit through a 2 hour lecture on political correctness.
