Or rather, it’s straight out of the Marvel comics. It doesn’t look anything like the AoS version. It’s pretty clear that AoS diverged from the MCU continuity after the Winter Solider tie in, and I honestly expect the show to be officially declared as a parallel reality at some point.

I remember that we never saw the Helicarrier or any of the other SHIELD agents besides Fury and Hill in another MCU movie set in the present day after that point.

I love that Republic Commando is having a renaissance, 16 years after its initial release. However, it’s worth mentioning that the team’s reward for shipping was to be laid off just as the game hit shelves in Feb 2005 (I had friends at LucasArts back then), which also helped kill any momentum on a sequel.
