Touché!

Ah, it’s the Golgafrinchan B Ark! Hopefully Earth was not wiped out by a virulent disease contracted from dirty cel phones.

Tig Notaro is digitally replacing Chris D’Elia’s role, which is wild. I can only imagine how awkward that’s going to look in action sequences.

I grew up in Southern California, I’ve been moving further north to get away from climate change as soon as I was old enough to move out. :P

In what media? Because Black Widow’s iconic look was created in 1970, in Amazing Spider-Man #86.

Good point!

Thanks, that’s what I was trying to link. There’s also the FaWS Sam Cap figure leak: https://www.cbr.com/falcon-winter-soldier-captain-america-sam-costume/

I tried searching for discussion about the broken links but came up empty. Thanks for confirming it’s not just me.

It’s a problem I’ve been having with hyperlinks on the G/O Media sites for months now. Note that your anchor word was moved to the front of the comment and the link disabled. Don’t know how to fix it, but I’ve given up trying to use that function.

Yay, another Young Ones fan! Dumb fact, you can still get a diecast miniature of Vyvyan’s Ford Anglia: https://www.amazon.co.uk/OXFORD-DIECAST-76105008-Anglia-Yellow/dp/B005GQ6NWW

I might be misunderstanding your post, so forgive me if I’m pointing out stuff you already know.:

The theory I’m subscribing to at this point is that Sharon is working undercover for Ross.

Or rather, it’s straight out of the Marvel comics. It doesn’t look anything like the AoS version. It’s pretty clear that AoS diverged from the MCU continuity after the Winter Solider tie in, and I honestly expect the show to be officially declared as a parallel reality at some point.

I remember that we never saw the Helicarrier or any of the other SHIELD agents besides Fury and Hill in another MCU movie set in the present day after that point.

The problem is that Lucas himself wanted Grievous to be a mustache twirling villain. Tartakovsky had some leeway when he was working on his series, as Lucas hadn’t quite figured out how he wanted Grievous to be characterized, coupled with the show’s insane production timeline. Unfortunately, The Clone Wars series had

Nobody goes there AND it’s too crowded? :D

Indeed...I found it online a few years ago, only clips seem to be on YouTube. Vulture did an oral history of the film in January, and IndieWire followed up shortly after with an article focused on the documentary. Kinja hyperlinks are still jacked up, so here are the URLs:

Yeah, the revelation that the kid’s name is Omega does indicate that if they’re not literally the last clone, perhaps they’re the final evolution of the program.

I love that Republic Commando is having a renaissance, 16 years after its initial release. However, it’s worth mentioning that the team’s reward for shipping was to be laid off just as the game hit shelves in Feb 2005 (I had friends at LucasArts back then), which also helped kill any momentum on a sequel. Pour one out
