This show had a backdoor pilot in the first story arc of the final season of The Clone Wars. All your questions will be answered. ;)

Same thought, that really threw me as I really hoped Disney had outgrown that trope. Sigh, Ahsoka turned out fine, perhaps lightning will strike twice. I’m absolutely not digging the Little Prince vibes, though.

I’m guessing those are either the same or precursors to the DT sentry droids that Thrawn liked to spar with in Rebels: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/DT-series_sentry_droid

I don’t need to rewatch, I know the dialogue. I stand behind the assertion that Vader and Obi-Wan meeting after Mustafar but before ANH is just a bad, horrible, awful idea all around. Fan service at the expense of stretching credulity to the breaking point (not that I would be surprised after TROS).

Man, that would cause gaping plot holes if they did that. Vader doesn’t know that Kenobi is still alive until he senses him on the Death Star. Even Maul wasn’t entirely sure Kenobi was still alive in Rebels (which takes place between Obi-Wan and ANH) until he and Ezra combine Holocrons.

Given Lucasfilm’s fondness for repurposing unused concept art, if they go the “Head Vader” route (plausible) I could see them embracing the Anakin/Vader idea from the sequel trilogy:

I’m trying to take a lesson from Wandavision to stop theorizing and just enjoy the ride, but...

My favorite are the people making left turns not by going around the roundabout counterclockwise as they should, but immediately making a sharp left to go clockwise against traffic in the circle.

My wife and I are currently doing that calculus ourselves. XD

I took a risk in getting the 3-year founder plan, which paid off. However, I still lament the fact that other than a few select episodes, the old Disney anthology TV shows (eg Wonderful World of Disney, etc) aren’t available. At least my absolute favorite episode, “Mars and Beyond” is available. Ward Kimball’s very

Yes, agreed. I wasn’t clear in my reply but I also think this is just set up for a future payoff.

Shuri ostensibly removed the “Manchurian Candidate” programming from his brain, which would have been one of the only ways I could see him getting a pardon. Zemo will absolutely trigger him, but they’d have to do some narrative justification as to why the words would work again, if they go that route.

I mentioned this in a reply to another comment, but it’s confirmed in the credits that it is indeed Joaquín Torres.

...I was surprised Torres didn’t die or at least got serious injuries after all that

In my head canon, the old Star Wars Cantina iOS game covered Ackmena’s early days as a waitress...

I vividly recall that episode. I’ve never been a fan of hers, but the pride with which she recounted that story was sickening.

I feel like this show is going to be much more straightforward, less prone to wild speculation. Wandavision did itself a disservice by making some narrative choices and lingering on every little thing in earlier episodes, hinting at mysteries that were much deeper than the showrunners were planning, and it didn’t help

You don’t get to move the goalposts, and it’s painfully obvious that you’re just sealioning. “Ching chong” is such a trope of racist speech that it has its own damn wikipedia page.

I regret that I have but one star to give.
