The opening to Watchmen, both the opening sequence and the credits, set the stage for a movie that never came.

Ergo, concordantly, vis-à-vis… You know what, I have no idea what the hell I'm saying…

"Giant hands, massive boots, and even bigger boobs. Let's add some hair you could sharpen a knife to, aaaaand we're done."

Beat it on 1999 Mode. I think I took stabs at it weeks apart. "Welp, not trying this again for a while…"

I wish they would stop meddl(ocalypse)ing with fan-favorites. Also, Undeclared.

Radical!

I'm wondering if this will follow the Marvel Knights storyline where Frank knocks Matt out, chains him up, tapes a pistol to his hand, and gives him the choice of either killing him, or allowing him to snipe a mob boss. One of my all time fav Marvel moments.

Yeah man, Ashes was an INCREDIBLE follow-up to Palaces, and was actually my favorite album that year. I actually initially thought it was the stronger of the two LoG records, but have since deferred to Palaces (plus the remaster of that album in 2014 is the greatest improvement upon an album I've ever heard.

I know, I was like, blast beats does not equal "fast drum fills."

Let's not forget that Borden made it clear he didn't care.

If you want monstrous obsession, check out Prisoners. It's… not a joyful movie, to be sure, but helluva performance.

I'll take it.

The theme emerging is that collectibles are shunned, while items of even marginal quality are ranked higher if they include an alcohol component. Oh, AVC! You lovable drunks!

I hear ya. I do feel like there could be more there, though. Hanzee also had his close encounter if you recall - lost two hours outside of the waffle place. Not sure what to make of all of it just yet.

Given the Solversons' experiences with the UFO (Molly's drawing, Betsy's displacement/vision/even cancer?, Lou's close encounter), my takeaway was that Hank's language found a way to communicate with them. It was a satisfying enough conclusion for me without being overt. But I could be full of s—-, who knows?
