I can confirm that, while it took a little longer than estimated, they have successfully fulfilled their previous kickstarters. Past performance is no indication of future results and all that jazz, but FWIW they HAVE been able to complete comparable projects of this scale.

On macOS, if you’ve still not yet taken the Catalina/Big Sur jump yet because of software that you still need to run, there’s a Safari update with (I’m assuming) the WebKit fixes for Mojave. The “2 ports” bit has been a thing on the 13-inch MBP and MBA for a bit, though - I certainly agree with the desire for more, I’m DEFINITELY waiting for a 4-port 16-inch MBP - but they’ve had good luck with selling the fewer-ported models already.
