Here's something interesting - on the original Audi Quattro, there was a button to disable the ABS. Apparently, it makes for faster stopping in snow.

I'm fine with these systems, but I can't completely turn stability control off in my Explorer and that really limits the fun on dirt roads.

I disable all of the above but for the average idiot driver they are very much needed.

TPMS

Hurr, durr, TCS, Stability Controll Systems, ABS, etc.

I had a girlfriend who bought an first gen Mazda3 w/o the roof, when they first came out. She passed on the roof so I could fit. I have a first gen Mazda6 w/o the moonroof. I fit pretty well, but fit better in my Equinox.

yeah, the 1st gen looks far more accommodating to tall people than the 2nd gen.

That's good news for this guy. I haven't gotten around to finding one in town to test drive, but the Mazda3 is on my list. I just need to find one without a sunroof.

+1 Yep.

The 3 seems to be one the best, to me, in the compact segment for taller people.

Mazda3. My brother is a couple of inches taller than that reader's son and he fits in mine (hatch of-course) with room to spare. It doesn't leave much for a passenger behind him but that wasn't part of the question. :)

Oh, I saw the point and went well past it. Because big shiphorn in a small car.

You've beaten me to it. Glad I looked before posting.

Obvious answer is obvious. This needs to be in the top 5 at least!

Rental car, by the same logic that it is also the fastest car in the world.

And that a cat's terminal velocity falling is slower than what will kill them?

Nice one
