My mistake, I didn't look closely and mistook it for Alan McNish's 2011 crash caused by Anthony Beltoise, a French racing driver.
I was tempted to nominate that one as well but that car was driven by a professional driver at the time.
I don't know many gentleman drivers but I nominate Robert Kauffman. He was the Ferrari driver in Mike Rockenfeller's crash at Le Mans in 2011.

It's sad actually, in 2009 Toyota actually looked to have made good progress and had some good finishes. They ended the season with 5 podiums and their second best constructors finish (after 4th in 2005) in 5th.
