I can’t really argue with how uneven this episode and this season is. This season ended basically where I thought it would, which is how these characters learn to let go. Or at least to open themselves up. In that way, I find it satisfying, even the path there is a mess.

I truly thought she was Raven-Symoné.

At least for me, Casino Royale is still the best of Craig, and probably the best Bond. I’ve also never gotten the Skyfall hype. A perfectly good movie, but not at the level of that first Craig outing.

I hope we have Gene Hackman for several more years, but it seems like he’s been enjoying retirement.

Hell yes. I love the first two V/H/S films, but Viral is such a bummer. It’s a relief to know that this isn’t terrible.

I actually found the stories in this episode to work quite well, at least in isolation. Because even in re-watching season two, there are a lot of things that aren’t unmotivated or unfounded, but they are often missing connective tissue. Yet, I was still swept up in each character thread as it unfolded, rather than

*shrug* I don’t know. I thought it was fun and inventive. I mean, come on. Punching through the multiverse alone is pretty great.

It’s like that great Justified line (as if there’s only one): If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you’re the asshole.

Here’s an insane opinion: Reloaded is my favorite of the series so far. I completely get why people don’t like it, or why so many people find it frustrating, but it’s the one I enjoy the most. I love that it is bursting at the seams. I love that it’s swinging for the fences. I love how unabashedly sincere and cool it

My biggest problem with Malignant is that it withholds a lot of information you can reveal much earlier, like the relationship between Gabriel and Madison until the very end. There’s no reason you can’t at least say there was a brother who was removed from her head at least in the second act. It just feels like the

Basically perfect until the very inevitable final shot.

I would love for Demi to just make a full-blown musical.

Well, it’s kind of a chicken/egg situation.

Gotta be honest, I much preferred John Oliver’s tribute, moving though Lorne’s was.

Burstyn did not win for that 14-second performance; she lost to Kelly Macdonald for The Girl in the Cafe. The nomination is still egregious.

You know, it’s an episode I find myself wanting to like, that I enjoyed a lot while watching, but that I doesn’t totally make sense for me. Whether or not it features into the larger story isn’t all that consequential to me, because there’s plenty of runway left for it. What I don’t really understand is what the show

You truly cannot do worse than Viral, which had one good segment—the Nacho Vigalondo one. So, this sounds like it’ll be fun.

Sounds good. Can’t wait to see it.

I was very into this until the end. It concludes where I wanted it to—with Killmonger being shaken by T’Challa’s words—but it is so abrupt that it feels incomplete. But if these threads are going to be picked back up, maybe this season will work holistically.

You know what? This is a list. Mine looks different, but can’t disagree too profoundly with what’s going on here.
