They were the first tv couple that really were passionate together. 

Every character actor usually has one good starring role. For Astin, it was “Evil Roy Slade”. He looked like he had the time of his life. It was available on YouTube.

I glad “Low Winter Suck” wasn’t included.

I cheered when I saw Aya Cash (I didn’t know she was a part of Season 2). I loved “You’re The Worst”, and recently saw her on an old “Modern Family” episode.

Those AT&T commercials are irritating. I’ll have to check this out.

One of the best old Hollywood movies. I’ve seen it multiple times, and know almost all the lines (“What are you made up for:the seeing eye?”).

“It’s too hot! It’s too damn hot! The cameraman’s frying me!”

I must have missed the update to 1985.

I re-watched that on YouTube, and had forgotten she played Lizzie’s sister. “Lizzie, I’m going to ask you this one more time.”

I will always remember the heart broken look on Jessica’s face when she found her husband cheating, as Mary tried to shield her from it. Helmond was the heart and soul of “Soap”, and kept all the slapstick nonsense from making the show fly completely off the rails.

Of course, I had forgotten about the magic shop. I remember all the Phil-and-Claire drama surrounding its purchase.

The 1937 version starred Janet Gaynor, and was written by Dorothy Parker.

The film was also made in 1932 as “What Price Hollywood?”.

Pretty Baby. The subject matter didn’t help.
