Biggest problem I've found so far: there appears to be no way to skip the tutorial, which forces you into some choices that I'd rather not make.

Yes, they can.

Here’s my second vault (as mentioned, I abandoned my first). It give a sense of the order in which I built it, level by level.

Yeah, I have a few high-level characters from lunchboxes (I bought a pack of 5 for my current vault). I gave them both the best armor and guns I had, sent them out overnight, and they came back with a ton of outfits and guns.

Great list, all stuff I’ve pretty much learned in the past 48 hours of playing. Here are a few more tips and experiences, as well as a few issues:

It strikes me that this same pattern is common in the tech industry, particularly in Silicon Valley, where small visionary-led firms often become full-blown corporations in a very short time. Great perks, new-age management, and tight camaraderie don’t often scale well, particularly when the firm grows so quickly that

Yep — I got pretty much the same thing with my first vault. The very first lunchbox I opened, I got Jericho, level 42, with heavy leather armor and an Infiltrator rifle. I thought, “Cool!” Haven’t gotten anything that high since.

I’ve seen women stomp on roaches. Don’t know what the difference is; it may have to do with one of their SPECIAL characteristics.

Bound to the vault you opened it in. Moreover, the lunchboxes themselves are bound to that vault; I bought a group for my first vault, used some, decided to start a new one, and ... no lunchboxes.

Some handy tips for first-time players (I’ve had it since last night):

I have been eating in restaurants for, oh, 50+ years , and I remain staggered by these stories. I cannot even begin to grasp how these people could consider this appropriate adult behavior. In fact, I would be incredulous, but I have a daughter who worked as a server for many years, and she can tell devil-customer

As does the lack of teenagers screaming obscenities.

Likewise, one of my favorite games in recent years (just reinstalled and played it through a few weeks ago). Very much looking forward to this.

OK. XCOM2. Fallout 4. And now Dishonored 2.

The real question is: was Dolezal being hypocritical, or was she just offering a professional tip?

More on the saga:

I am regularly embarrassed by how many hours Steam shows me having played XCOM (which I was actually just playing on Saturday). I am embarrassed in advanced for XCOM 2.

Just grilled burgers today (what a surprise, I know?). 80% lean ground chuck. I measure out 5.3 oz (1/3rd lb) and form it gently into a square patty — but firmly enough so that it doesn’t fall apart on the grill (as per Morkail’s complaint, which is well founded). Fresh ground pepper and kosher salt on each side.

That was exactly my thought as well.
