AMC, now owned by a Chinese conglomerate, objects to other companies using low price tactics to generate demand.

Ok - I indulged in hyperbole - those shows are great and Ozark is good.

This reviewer is trying way too hard to be contrarian. I disagree with just about every criticism he makes. The show has no humor? Give me a break - lots a funny stuff in this show. Tell me Laura Linney throwing a dead possum on that trailer is not funny. Maybe Mr. Adams is a redneck from the Ozark area and took it

I'd rather see Ron Howard go forward with SevenEves.

Well, I appreciate it when Dr Stangelove or any of Kubrick's movies makes it to the A.V. clickbait page, but the interviewer was actually more interesting than Guest.

Kudos to Ron Cobb who dreamed up Weylan-Yutani, the name of the dirtbag corporation (a tautology) of the future. And whoever came up with the drinking birds was a set dressing genius.

Its already been done - see Black Mirror.

Hollywood doesn't do books with satire very well - recent examples Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk and now The Circle. Potential reason - target audience (13-25 year olds) won't get it, so the screenplays get watered down and lose their bite.

I hear Naomi Watts is in the new Twin Peaks TV show. I'm all in.

Obviously the jitterbug dance contest was the most rewarding scene. Without it, we have nothing.

Recent - movies: Peter Jackson's first two Hobbit movies (fell asleep - same as walking out) - didn't bother with the third one. The Star Trek Reboots 2 and 3 were awful. Star Wars VII sucked. Old movies - Weekend at Benies II - walked out after 10 minutes.

Dr. Zachary Smith,

Chinese hackers upset with that Kimmel crack about The Wall.

Yeah - might be right - its been a long time since I read them. My point was, lets do something new.

Love this director, but do we really need a Dune remake? How about taking on some new sci-fi and fly with that. Asimovs Foundation series would be more appropriate, or how about some of William Gibson's or Neal Stephenson's books? Those would get me excited.

Just the first one. The other 2 are OK.

No loyal friend was ever there for me. We hates them.

They should have gone full-bore Shining with this movie. J-Law with an axe would have been awesome. And after she kills Pratt, she wakes up another male. Rinse, repeat.

Yep. thats a better plot - you might enjoy Seveneves. Similar concept - Earth is doomed, down to last seven humans in a spaceship, all women.
