I have a question - what sort of supposed 'lifestyle' were they promoting? I've gone into an Anthropologie store, and I just don't get it...but then again, as a plus-sized woman, I don't think I'm their target audience. More's the pity, because I like to shop, and my money is just as green as anyone else's, yo.

There are plenty of resources available for those of us who cannot ingest dairy products. My boss is VERY lactose intolerant, and she's in her early 60s.

You also have to recognize the time - this was in 1960, right? I'm not sure that alcohol comsumption was looked upon in the same way that it is now.
