This is some quality Friday morning nostaliga. I loved these books. The characters were real and imperfect - you could totally see yourself as each one of them. And the Yeerks were (at least as a kid starting to read scifi) such unique, horrifiying antagonists. That fear of something so secret and insidious taking…

Oh shit i remember those. Both some of my favorites in the series and also the most terrifying.

SERIOUSLY. I keep seeing “one of them dies and the other is so upset they turn into MIB”... all we’ve seen from both of them is utter disdain towards each other.
