Agreed. The chin flares on the mask are for minimizing force from pucks. There is only a floating chin strap in place below the cage. Goalie mask padding isnt the same as in a skater’s equipment. I use a Reebok 7K made in 2011, purchased in 2015 and certified through October 2017.
