Normally, I love these dialogue posts. They’re funny and instructive, but I think you dropped the ball on Racist Baby. He was more of tolerant/open-minded baby then a racist. I read the mailbag regularly, it is filled with unapologetic racists and this kid was no progeny of theirs.

First paragraph: valid, your claim is basically, “the article makes it seem like people are claiming Derrick Rose is a good person, when they’re really saying he still is a good basketball player.”

Larry David has perfected this tactic. Wanda Sykes and later on J.B. Smoove are the two primary examples. He pretty much dedicated an entire season of Curb your Enthusiasm to “Meet the Blacks” and the following season to a redemption story for Michael Richards.
