Turkey is in a really difficult place politically.  They’ve tried for decades to warm up to the West, but the West keeps rejecting them cause they’re too Muslim.  When they turn to the Arabs, they reject them because they’re not Muslim enough.

I never really cared one way or the other, and usually wrote longer more thoughtful posts. Then I wrote one, in jest, that I honestly forgot I even wrote... and it was the first time I ever cracked the 100 star mark.

Also, it’s a blog. They’re supposed to interject commentary or op/ed elements. I know Anne does and Breanna used to do posts more in line with reporting, but a blog sit is allowed to do other things than just report.
