I remember in the early 90's seeing a concept car, which had a rolling drawer which contained a laptop which could connect to the internet via cellular dialup.

I knew to do this, but I hadn’t driven stick regularly since 2003. So it’s not automatic for me to do so. Even now, I don’t remember to unless I’m parking on a hill (which I never am - mostly I just go out for a drive, and park back in my very-level driveway, so level the car doesn’t move in neutral).

I had the same thought process recently. In the spring I purchased an MR2 spyder (the most unloved of the line - way underappreciated), and the first time I went to go fuel it up I discovered the parking brake was loose. It slowly started to roll away.

Nailed it. Of course “The South” doesn’t quite start where most people think it does. For example, the scenes you describe you can see within tens of miles of Indianapolis.

After this accident, I actually watched “Ghosts of the Abyss” using my VR headset. It was super cool.

I have a Japanese friend who does something similar, pronouncing it almost like “sermon”.

Maybe price wasn’t the primary reason nobody wanted a Mach-E.  Maybe it was because it failed to scratch the itch that Mustang ownership typically scratched.  Maybe they should have a think on that.
