you guys

Kim was STUNNING!

We got one of these notices for a blog post that the third party company we paid for website management put up. The notice did not say take it down or pay. . . it said pay. And when we took down the post, the licensing company kept calling our business daily, saying if we didn’t pay up $600 for the now removed image,

I saw that episode too... ugh, what a loathsome individual. For anyone who didn’t watch it, he picked a girl, and instead of taking her out to a nice restaurant or something else date-like, he decided to “test her” and see if she could “keep up with his fast-paced lifestyle”. Things to look out for- anyone who

but.... he’s gross? let’s be real. that shows not going to last if it even gets picked up.

She took the photo down so she complied. This will get tossed out of court in 5 minutes.

It happens all the time in publishing. Sometimes paperwork goes awry and things aren't licensed. It's a transparent play for publicity. Based on the use, they can have it retroactively licensed and have her pay an additional fee; this is a few hundred dollars at most.

There is no reason for the lawsuit. Typically the agency would contact the website and inform them of unauthorized use of intellectual property and say the license fee is X $$ or take it down. She complied and removed it. End of story.

Bravo!

You know what they say, one man’s junk is another man’s treasure.

I’m in favour of abolishing the draft entirely.

alternatively, get rid of selective service altogether. If a real emergency comes up, people will volunteer, and if not, there are places for those records anyway, such as the DMV.

I feel like they expect women all over the country to clutch their pearls as they loudly gasp, “No!” and fall upon their fainting couches, when really most people will be like, “Yup, sounds fair, you gonna mail that to me, or. . . ?”

I know it’s popular to hate on Gwyneth but THAT is how you do divorce with kids. Too often the parents are selfish cry babies who can’t put their kids first for even a second. I can hate on GOOP the website but I give these two a lot of credit in the parenting department.

Uh, “putting up a fight” in this context can just mean “playing hard to get” emotionally/psychologically, not literal physical violence and, notwithstanding how dirty the song is otherwise, I’m still pretty sure the former meaning is the one that was intended.

THAT DRESS THOUGH. One of my fave all time dresses. I though Marty was so beautiful when I was a kid.

I always thought “The chicks’ll cream” was “The chicks will scream”, which made plenty of sense to me.

It went over my head until I was an adult. I always thought it meant she resisted his charms, not that he got physical.

This whole time I thought she got sick because she smoked. And I wondered when I had my first cigarette, why I didn’t get sick.

- That it was really inappropriate for Vince Fontaine to be flirting with Marty.
