We have hummingbirds too, and there is a spot in the peppercorn tree outside my kitchen window where they perch occasionally. Who knew they actually do that? They’re usually a blur. It’s a treat to see one when they decide to take a rest.

I have a couple of blue tits nesting in my moulding, little buggers have dug in a bit but sadly I found a little body on my decking the other day, poor little thing. One of the parents watched me dispose of the body, felt very strange, they are such shy little birds.

How fortunate for you. I have A BUNCH of hummingbirds in the yard but have NO IDEA where they nest and raise their young. Have never been able to watch the whole life cycle. Therefore, I think you are special happy shiny people and very very lucky, on top of that. Keep us posted!!!
