That was another glaring typo that any 9th-grader should have caught. It’s since been fixed.

I immediately thought of “Raising Arizona.”
Anyone with a 9th grade education and cable television in there homes should know that he didn’t say they’re.
The standard is COPS fearing for THEIR lives. Your life doesn’t matter to the police/the jury/“the system.”
The racism part isn’t about the perpetrator, it’s about the victim. To most juries, black lives don’t matter.
But no one in the US should be expected to be able to speak languages other than English unless it’s their job.
Was this from the one who is on here creating multiple accounts and posting nonsense all day, every day?
And make it easier to identify those we should blame when our planet and loved ones are dying. You can’t hide your deplorable past when it’s right there in the yearbook!
In other words, no critics.
It’s unethical (and self-damaging) to attempt to harm someone because they express an opinion you disagree with.
Clearly you prefer a lone rich old white lady saying what is and isn’t art.
You’re concerned about her ability to do her job, but not about the jobs of everyone she’s writing about. Is it fair that a racist bigot could shut down a whole production, jeopardizing or even ending others’ jobs, because she doesn’t want to see any more shows about “race and gender?” Also, I work in theatre and most…
Let me ftfy: It’s hard easy to see this as anything except an multiple artists working to shut down a critic for expressing racist, homophobic, misogynistic and bigoted viewpoints that the artist most Americans disagree with.

What do you suppose is the real reason for this? Fear of their healthcare system, their medical patents, spite for not getting a golf course there, “no brown people,” or commies? All of the above?
I just now realize you were commenting on her mother’s hypocrisy, not Ariel’s. Sorry! That’s what I get for commenting before coffee. Yes! Her mother is a total hypocrite.
I don’t understand what’s hypocritical about it. Her mother was sexualizing her when she was a minor. Now Ariel’s an adult and can be “sexual” all she wants. Ariel didn’t say that she wanted to be emancipated from her mother so she could be a cloistered, covered, adult woman for the rest of her life.
I did. But I’m not saying naturism IS a sexual orientation, just that it may be similarly innate.
Exactly. She obviously doesn’t understand that, probably because she’s a kid. If she is a young naturist (sorry if I used the wrong terms) she may not be trying to freak out her parent, even if that’s how the parent is receiving it. And conversely, if as a tween/teenager she’s asserting her autonomy, then maybe she…
Perhaps she is just a nudist? I’m not a nudist, but I would imagine that it is something one knows from a very early age. I also don’t know what the nudist community thinks/does regarding minors, but maybe learning more about nudism would help both of you. I’m assuming that agreeing to the social mores of wearing…
