That’s pretty much the case with most DC films. The acting can’t save it. Granted not every DC film has great acting, (Jesse Eisenberg, Lex Luthor) but most do, but it’s just the bad writing and directing that makes the movies very ‘meh’.

When he gets to act like Superman, he’s stupendous. It’s a textbook example of the writing failing the actor.

He was not the problem with the movies. I’m honestly really bummed they’re apparently not giving him a chance to actually shine.
