It’s not a good thing unless you plan to sell and move or take on more debt with a home equity loan.

Yes, when a player’s contract ends they can sign with any club they want. My understanding is that unlike American leagues there isn’t even a period where players’ rights belong to a club - theoretically an 18-year old could choose to let their contract end and move on a free transfer.

Politics usually takes care of itself as a deal breaker - there’s just so little social/cultural overlap between political ideologies (in part because Trump/Tea Party/etc.-love is so heavily centered in white evangelicals) that it’s probably going to hit the skids before actual politics enters the picture.

(Granted,

Frank Thomas wasn’t Pujols-quality but similarly had a long decline that made people forget how great he was... for a bit. I feel like the Big Hurt has been mostly rehabilitated in fans’ minds and Pujols will be as well just a few years after he retires.

Psychedelics didn’t change me but I was always pretty averse to the spiritual/supernatural, moderately well-adjusted in other ways (I’m pretty empathetic, open to new experiences) - over a couple dozen experiences with acid/mushrooms/ecstasy it didn’t cure my depression or the more than occasional bouts of youthful

The only major thing I’ve disagreed with him on so far is his major hard on for going to war with Iran.

On first glance I read this as “flying America’s cocaine.”

Lets look at some PBS content to discover why some non-immoral non-greedy fucks want to defund federal spending on PBS:

Can we do this with aircraft carriers? I give zero fucks about “the national defense,” people who do can either pony up or volunteer.

I would also assume that basketball fans skew younger and less white overall than the electorate, which would make the numbers even more hostile to Trump.

I assume this is the kind of criticism that you only make when you’ve driven hundreds of crazy cars. (Or that you make because you’ve heard a bunch of people who have say it.) That doesn’t make it any less legit, just different from “it handles like a 1981 Cadillac El Dorado.”

I need to get back into feeding the birds in my yard but I’m afraid it will turn into a buffet for the neighborhood cats.

I’m barely aware of who Kendall Jenner is aside from her family, but I understand what she’s talking about - all models are inherently hot/attractive/whatever you want to call it, but she’s not (presumably in her mind) getting booked for the gigs that are about visceral sex appeal, the Emily Ratajkowski jobs or

The Ed Werders of ESPN are nothing compared to rights packages - but on the other hand, how much value do they offer? Do people deeply care where the latest RUMOR: PEYTON MANNING TO CFL stories come from?

It’s sports reporting, it’s not like these are top-flight investigative journalists who can’t be replaced.

He might be a racist and a misogynist but to be momentarily fair, what he said was they bid too much on “things like the NBA.”

Supposedly, leading up to the Odin murder he and his crew had taken to smoking PCP. Synthetic cannabinoids (which are not really ‘synthetic marijuana’ in their effects) can have similar dissociative effects and lead you to doing crazy shit.

No? It doesn’t actually deprive me of anything - next time I might just think twice about upgrading and see if I get lucky.

In and Out didn’t exist where I’m from as a kid. I’ve never had Shake Shack that is supposed to be the best, but I/O and Whataburger are noticeably closer to a homemade/flavorful burger than Wendy’s/McDonalds/BK to me.

Whoppers and Big Macs are shit, though, and all the more offensive because other chains prove that you can have good, cheap burgers (In and Out, Whataburger).

Scientists say catharsis is good, humans say “no shit, man.”
