Lisa Leslie might just have better things to do than film a CBS sports panel discussion show called "We Need to Talk" every week.

I can be a whiskey snob, but I also like Rebel Yell. It's the $15 bourbon that drinks like an $18 bourbon.
Your comment made me realize that I must be more of a beer snob than a coffee snob, because I don't feel strongly about pumpkin spice lattes, but pumpkin beer makes me sneer like an antagonist in an 80s teen movie.
God, think about the people this guy spends time around if he really thinks "he didn't mean anything by it" is just going to smooth all of this over.
Every non-union employee can be fired for misconduct that isn't criminal. And sometimes union ones, too. I don't think that's really a harsher penalty than anyone else faces.
My headcanon is that her parents are from Jessamine County, Kentucky, (a place I know well. ish) and she's desperately trying to overcompensate for the perceived shame of it.
I think I like the manicure reading of the Giver better than the traditional one.
"He said he trolled/bullied people because it was an outlet for him to relieve stress."
I wrote one for a stranger I held hands with at a ska show. He never replied, but I did get a ton of dick pics from a bunch of other random dudes.
I'm ordering my next pizza with pepperahnees, just for you.
Just as it's weird that there's a real, physical gym near my house called "I love kickboxing.com", it's weird that there's an online streaming website called "sarahpalinchannel.com"
Is idiosyncratically mispronouncing jalapenos really that dumb? It's silly, but...
My mom (went to Purdue) taught me Hail to the Motherfuckers before packing me off to MSU years ago, for what it's worth. Her version had "the assholes of the world" though. (FASCINATING DETAIL I KNOW).
The President's anti-cat bias is not something that Real America can just ignore.
My favorite was a review for a local Korean place that was basically like, oh, I guess this as good as you'll get in Rhode Island, but it's soooo disappointing compared to the real korean restaurants I'm used to in [connecticut location I can't remember].
I'm guessing it's this guy: http://www.nicoletti-flater.com/about.php, a psychologist.
Unfortunately, it seems to me that a lot of current fiscal conservatism in the US is just another form of social conservatism. Like how people really want to implement drug tests for welfare even though it's net more expensive. Accepting handouts is a moral sin, trying to regulate greenhouse gases is attacking our way…
It was bad enough when it seemed like she thought that non-specific "Asian" chefs just make better sushi, but then it becomes clear that she really just thought they were of them as part of the decor, and it really just takes the whole thing to new levels of racial assholery.
It's funny, because even if that was the right context, a campaign to end father's day would actually be a pretty macro aggression.
I think it's a little sad, because she's got a great body, and I'm guessing she works pretty hard to keep it that way. The "Wow, she's so normal" reaction sort of belittles that hard work.
