I think Trevor, of all people on TV, is the one person that can take her on. She is looking for the conflict and anger, that is all she has. I hope he takes his Apartheid experience and takes these white nationalists to task.

You have seen the Ralston report with the transcripts? There are VMs and texts - easily identifiable.
His campaign has shown there are people who respond to the promise of revolution.
Not to mention how immensely hypocritical it is to bitch endlessly about how “undemocratic” the process is, and then try to override the voters.
I’d (sorta) agree with you if Sanders was making a full-throated effort to control his misogynistic, violent supporters, AND if he were repudiating Trump’s constant messaging about how he’s only losing because of a rigged system.
I’d consider either of those options fine. It’s ridiculous that he’s still sowing dissent, whining about the rules of the party that he’s not even a registered member of, and going negative while he should be steering his people towards supporting Hillary.
He doesn’t need to drop out, and he shouldn’t, but it’s time to fucking change the rhetoric of his campaign and begin reconciliation. His refusal to acknowledge his dying chances is leading to this insane bullshit. Fix it, Bernie. This is on you.
He’s starting to look more and more like Gollum. He got a brief hold of the ring and now he really wants it apparently. I think he actually comes across as a righteous dick in interviews and his extremist supporters are so riled up now they are crying persecution and flocking to Trump just to be petulant dicks.
Well, the “going where they live” solution is a little problematic. Firstly, going to Sumatra or India or China is beyond the reach of most people, and if you’ve ever gone out in the wilderness to see animals in their native habitats, you’ll find there’s a good chance you won’t see them, especially the large predators…
Except it is really not that new. Conservation has been a driving force for zoological facilities for the last several decades.
Yeah, captive breeding is an important conservation strategy, given the way humans hunt/destroy habitats. It’s not ideal, but I’d rather have tigers/rhinos/etc than not.
I said this on another thread, but some zoos do actually help and protect animals. I’m actually not the biggest zoo fan, but hearing of the work the San Diego Zoo and others have done has changed my mind a bit. These tigers are dying out and a lot of zoos have gone into the “business” of cultivation and sustainability…
The anti-zoo crowd will always bury their heads in the sand regarding reality.
I think that’s an overly simplistic view of zoos. I grew up with a zoo that just seemed sad, so I get it. But like the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park and the DC Zoo actually are for protecting endangered animals. So no, this is not an accident like the tragedies of Seaworld in which animals have been plucked out of…
Right, zoos are just the main groups actively involved in animal conservation. But what do you really care about that? Oh right, you don’t care.
Have you never been to a zoo? Your post just seems judgmental especially in the face of death. Maybe zoos do suck, but why are they dumbass hicks and not also children in wonder, why is she an imbecile when it’s not like they go around handing out zoo jobs and she probably had an extensive wealth of knowledge about…
There are a couple hundred Malayan tigers left; just leaving them all where they live is maybe not the best way to still have Malayan tigers in ten years.
Hallelujah! Holy shit! Where’s the Tylenol?
What bugged me most was the ultra-passive voice about “things that happened” — it was never ever “bad things our brother did” or “the stupendously negligent way in which our parents tried to sweep it under the rug.” Throw in the husband’s haircuts and their professed ignorance about all things baby (really? a pregnant…
I feel genuinely bad for Jill and Jessa, who were raised in what essentially amounts to a cult and had their traumatic childhood experiences outed to the world without their consent.
