Yup, absolutely agreed. The best and most immersive theme park elements don’t have to be based on the best IP. I’m looking at you Splash Mountain/Song of the South.
Which I’m sure Disney won’t be happy about, considering the big capital investment they made to get Avatar properties into Animal Kingdom (still building...more than five years after announcement). Disney does have a stake in both being successful, but I agree that Avatar 2 isn’t exactly being anticipated.
Well, where the entire thing went wrong is the attempt in the first place, but I hear you.
I posted a comment that says...yeah, I guess I spoke too quickly on that.
Alright, I think you guys convinced me on squats. I shouldn’t have used an overarching statement like “you shouldn’t use clips.” You’re right that you can dump the bar behind you, so point taken. I guess my brain was more thinking about a solo bench when I wrote the original comment.
Yeah, that makes sense. I’m more familiar with PL, since one of my good friends in nationally-ranked.
The guy absolutely had no chance, so I can’t argue that point. But if I’m not mistaken, at OLY/Strongman/Powerlifing comps, you also have two side spotters and a back spot, which can take the weight and ensure you don’t get crushed to death. This dude’s spot philosophy was, “Yo, bro. Just watch me and see if I need…
In all seriousness, this is why you don’t clip your weight when you’re lifting heavy. If we wasn’t able to dump the weight, he very easily could have died.

“That means if you’re a diehard Rockies fan living in New York, instead of having to watch the game on SportsNet New York, you can watch the Root Sports Rocky Mountain feed on MLB.TV.”
It’s so true. Livingston is such an asset, and the Golden State bench is just flat out ridiculous.
“This sounds really lame and stupid, but the team chooses YOU, not the other way around.”
In that second clip, I look at Shaun Livingston and am like, “Damn, his decision to leave the Nets and join Golden State has got to be one of the best damn thing to ever happen to him.”

I stumbled upon this article over two years after it was published, but I love Horizons. My dad and I got matching Horizons logo tattoos on my bachelor party weekend.
Yeah, the obvious right question to this one is, “Dog, because I’m a loyal person, and I view myself as one of a pack. You know, I’m part of a pack...a team. I want to lead my pack, and I’m loyal to them all.”
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I’m not a big IV fan. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the original, and it hooked me. I just don’t have the unbridled love for it that most do.

This has now become my go-to “Americans are a bunch of morons” example!
