It wasn’t murdered, it was killed in self defense. Look, Gawker was entertaining at times, but outing gay people and posting private sexual videos of people is trash and deservedly got killed for it. Pro tip, if you don’t want to have lawsuits bring down your company, don’t try and mess with people’s personal lives

He now has one more career three pointer than the following players:

a great video on this topic - even if only partially responsible - it’s terrific:

Sounds like the area needs a reintroduction of the predators it lost... like the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park, where it resulted in a trophic cascade:

It’s a weird situation. I think the Rams are eventually going to be okay - they’re slowly building a fanbase in LA and they’re getting good at exactly the right time. The problem they have is that before they left for STL they spent a couple of decades being the OC’s team, so they’re not coming back to a local devoted

it makes them feel “badly?” oh boy.

Because it’s probably not their defining characteristic as a people. We have incestuous people who will eat fried butter, but it would be offensive to visit a Canadian and be told “Hey, if you’re hungry I can drop some Land O Lakes in the fryer, you cousin fucker.”

Remember when they told you there were no stupid questions? Yeah, that one about the zebras was one stupid fucking question.

In most sports you get tossed out if you accuse a referee of intentionally rigging the match. If a soccer player gets a yellow for yapping at the ref and still carries on, it’s a red card and that’s it. Hockey players get a quick 10 minute penalty.

The first claim is reasonable.  The second is just factually incorrect.  Mens players are penalized for similar behavior consistently.  Your head has to be buried deep in Serena’s ass to not understand this.

Chris why does this site treat Serena with kid gloves? Similar articles of tennis players melting down and making theatrical verbal tirades against the chair officials are met by scorning the player.

Wherever you happen to fall on Serena’s behavior Saturday night—for what it’s worth I’m probably somewhere between Jenkins and Levin—surely we can all agree that the umpire failed miserably

No, as you summed it up:

Serena stans are the worst stans.

source? check out tennis-focused threads. this ump is known to be thin skinned with men too. there’s a video of him taking points from djoker making the rounds. plus, i’m a pretty big tennis fan — and a big Williams sisters fan — and i’ve never once seen an outburst like this in a grand slam final. the coaching

this same official has given code violations to several of the top men.  difference is they didn’t berate him for 20 minutes following

I think a lot of people weighing in don’t watch very much tennis. Penalties, regardless of the infraction, in tennis escalate:

Because Deadspin wanted her to win. That’s really it.

I follow this pretty closely too and the coaching call was out of the norm.

If you were watching you saw Serena actually thank Ramos for hearing her out after the first warning. At that point she had moved ahead in the 2nd set. But after having her serve broken and falling behind again she smashed her racket and started up again with Ramos. In every sport there are penalties for this type of
