These doors are motorized. That makes a big difference compared to normal doors.

Think about little kids, who are basically tiny drunks. They do things we think are stupid all day long.

Did you hear about the truck that exploded in Texas recently? Turns out it was carrying Takata air bag detonators. They need to just quit while they’re behind.

Update: I just looked up the Ranger...holy crap they want $19k for it.

1st Gear:

Everyone should have a kitchen fire extinguisher in their car/truck box....

Life over limb big block.

Yeah, this video makes me want to get an extinguisher for my cars, if anything.

You can see this guy earlier in the video (yellow shirt man #1) as he runs up and basically just points at the car before running off. At first I was like “what a f’n coward... runs up, sees lady trapped in burning car, and runs the other way.” Moments later, though, when he appears again in frame to ostensibly help

Now if the car wasn’t on fire I’d agree. But...the car was on fire.

And being burned to a crisp isn’t permanent harm? The fact that this type of comment is made makes me weep for the future. Life is risky and no amount of laws and lawsuits will change that. In times of need and and all help should be welcome.

When a life is threatened by immediate danger, such as a fire, you have to ignore the danger of causing further injury by moving the victim.

Crumple Zones save lives... also, people have walked away from some pretty horrific crashes.

The one who saved her was the one who showed up with a fire extinguisher. Everybody just backed off as he arrived, then they could get back in there. $20 well spent there.

“This horrific 10-car pileup in upstate New York last week included a tractor trailer with faulty brakes spearing through traffic, but no one was killed.”

Who said they weren’t?

How is this person not dead?

That’s a misleading snippet. By putting him under the car, the fire goes out, and the vehicles uncrash, and everyone walks away unscathed.

Like when I first saw Inception. I was high. It all made sense.

As an alum, I want to be clear. The campus isn’t allowing anything. The state lege is and the campus has fought it all along but as a state school, has run out of options to prevent it. Profs have resigned over it.
