It had never occured to me that police should be screened for alcohol/drugs after fatal shootings, but it makes enormous sense. Drivers involved in fatal collisions are always screened, and if a police officer takes a life the same should apply to them. 

To call Biden’s tweet tone deaf would be an understatement. He made a milquetoast condemnation of “any and all violence”, sent condolences to the cops, but didn’t address the continuation of the injustices that made people protest in the first place.

I thought people were mad at the movie in general and not just the box art? When this was trending on twitter I saw more complaints about the movie itself. 

As an older individual (gen Xer) as well, I say ‘young person’ or people, not ‘kid’ anymore. If you need to state a disclaimer after using it, maybe it’s time to change it out for something more appropriate.
