Most of Jalopnik would burn the Gigafactory to the ground if they get away with it and not hurt anyone. I bet some of them are already blocking superchargers with trucks and cutting charging cables at night.

Porsche is chasing the Model S from 2012. Tesla’s current cars already beat it. Even the current Model 3 Performance beats it and Porsche still hasn’t released it yet.

Such a desperately lame wet dream. No BEV out there matches the range and efficiency of a Tesla. They aren't even close. Your old OEM’s are the ones that will die. They are the Blockbuster and Kodak of the current era. Too slow to adapt.

“That money would probably be spent more smartly on an E-Class AMG that’s already done 50,000 miles or so”

You should try a hand cranked Model T Ford. No electronics except for the spark plugs.

My Model 3 opens with my phone. It works every time. I also have a physical card I can use if the phone dies. You guys need to get with the times. We can't stay in caves forever.

Considering how cheap 110v extension cords are compared to USB-C 4.0 (or whatever it is now) cables, makes this a hard pass. Powering your device from whatever place you pick on the bed our couch should be as cheap and reliable as possible. Even if it is tacky.

Marvel is Disney's property now.

Disney might reboot these series but it's definitely going to be very different. Probably way more PG.

Even the base $35,000 Tesla is RWD. Why would anyone buy a 2 series? Do you know exhaust particulates do to your brain?

Current demands and power losses would be an issue.

The most plausible idea that I have seen yet.

You should try driving one. The map in my 3 is awesome. There's nothing more driver friendly than being able to plot new routes on the fly. When you are pushing it the screen doesn't even matter. There's no tach to worry about, just two pedals and instant torque.

Closest to *Earth* means just that. There’s no philosophical debate here.

Considering how bad Porsche's sound, I don't see the point in saving gas engines. By the the time a hybrid 9/11 comes out it will be passe and the Tesla Roadster would be eating it's lunch. An electric boxster now is the right move. If it comes in under $90k it won't have competition and will likely have the best

R Kelly is a monster and MJ is probably innocent.

Single cable docking to external storage, network, power, and graphics cards. One cable can turn a wimpy laptop into a beastly desktop powerhouse.

My only printer is a monochrome LaserJet.

That E53 burns gas. Electric cars are a different experience than gas cars.

As a kid playing Need For Speed V Rally, I used to love the see-t ib-bee-za, the sk-oh-da was cool too, but nothing could top the poo-shh-joe.
