Yeah, it’s very much a “Hogwarts Castle and surrounding areas” sandbox sort of action game with some light RPG elements.

Pretty much.
I’d imagine it’s a lot easier to start a lot of interesting ideas for games than it is to follow through, and Valve’s setup isn’t conducive to follow through, so that’s why we don’t see more smaller stuff from them.
Considering it Half-Life 3 would require it to continue the story meaningfully past where Episode 2 ended.
I honestly find Gotham Knights to be the better action combat game overall, while the Arkham series is the better stealth Gotham game.
Were you upset in Mass Effect 2 when he called you out for working with Cerberus?
The spamming of it pretty well connected to its reputation as a toxic emote. That, and its frequency following a play where they completely counter or shut you down, where it takes on a connotation not unlike that Jennifer Lawrence gif of the sarcastic “Okay.”
FFXIV team even knows that their UI is bad
This is very silly. It’s ‘cheating’ to use mods that fix the game’s bad UI, especially when it’s not PvP?
Yeah, given the obvious “there are other worlds, so that means multiple dimensions/multiverse stuff” thing going on with the Emblems Rings in the first place, I just have been chalking it up to this being a particularly flashy and over the top dimension/world.
It’s weird that one of the things people have been most interested about as far as the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie is concerned is how everyone sounds.
Yep, you can tell it was rushed, and largely not the fault of the voice actors.
Or the like $60 10-MCU costume pack on the PlayStation that showed up just a few days before this announcement. Yikes.
And yet ended up being less repetitive than Marvel Avengers, heh.
Good to hear - several of the settings immediately catch my attention, so it would have been a shame if they were of the “keep the pie you got much earlier to distract the yeti or lose the game” variety when it came to the puzzles.
Yeah, I’d seen that and figured it was the usual “hey look the joke it’s the joke we’re pointing out the joke with fuck words, that’s the joke get it?” humor his stuff is known for, put up against a heavily parodying the trope of the FPS “hero” typically being on a quest to avenge or get revenge due to a loved one…
I think that hollow feeling right now might come from this version kind of squishing together bits and pieces that we might recognize from the original into this single episode, when they came from parts of the first like 6 in the original.
Yeah, cause it legitimately looks good.
Dumping all that would be a lot to ask.
Just watched it, and that’s pretty much what I found in the first episode - the quick cuts from the trailer undersell the motion in the actual show.
