Catching up a bit to the increased overall cost of, well, everything.

Saw this mistake made a lot on the subreddit since that Q&A happened...

And the “bullshit” is about being given engineering specs to build their PSU on, not the actual card, and said specs not including info about the Nvidia sense pins from their own proprietary cables.

He’s not, though?

From the article, his comments were apparently on a Discord, not Reddit...

For Bayonetta, at least, we know the hours - 16.

Which is why the union for voice actors pushed for residuals alongside better working conditions and better pay during the strike.

It does seem ridiculous...

Based on the apparent standard rates for VA’s in the union of around $200-350/hour with a minimum of 2-4 hours, $4k would be what even a protagonist might make in a game if they only did 12-16 hours, which is entirely plausible for an action oriented game (depending on the number of takes and total lines, etc).

I’d imagine that depends on how much voiced dialog they need for the whole thing, as well as how many takes.

I’m hesitant to boycott it on her word alone on this as well.

Combat hopefully will see polishing (feels a bit light when it comes to impact right now, both hitting and getting hit, for the most part). Could be that I’m fresh off playing Moonscars, that gothic horror castlevania+soulslike, so I’m just feeling a different flow when it comes to combat in games like this.

It’s kind of half and half on being like Borderlands.

Nah, the wacky, over-the-top irreverence is still there.

Including marketing costs? Maybe Red Dead Redemption 2? And that’s on the higher end of analyst’s estimations, as I don’t think we have accurate numbers from that studio.

It does take a bit to set-up, but once you do I think the Souffle is one of the better money makers if you need a lot of gold, at least in terms of how quickly you can get it.

Speaking of recipes - Souffle.

This is the part we will definitely need to pay attention to.

I know on PC it’s like a lot of other games meant to be played online, in that you access it via the account on the platform you got it on (so your Steam account, Xbox account for PC gamepass, etc) while the game itself does not have multiple save files. One person owns and interacts with the island, basically.
