Not cancelled, just in development hell still, at least as of November of last year, which is the last official word we’ve had on the game (which was positive, at least, since the CFO of Paradox said they were happy with the progress the developer was making on the game).

For the “sucking at survival games” part at least, you can host a private game (either as solo only, or have friends able to join when the host is on...assuming you don’t want to run a dedicated server on your own hardware, or rent one, both of which are already options) and tweak a lot of those settings to your

On the other hand, that they aren’t hiding the game is a good thing.

Honestly, having seen the character customization deep dive (that, for some reason, this site completely skipped on talking about) that was shown off a month ago, and all the sites talking about how it still has that familiar silly and over the top action the series is known for...

Even then, *most* of the fight is known in most cases. Normal/Heroic are often tested on the PTR, so Mythic only mechanics and/or phases are the major unknown elements.

So very recent update - one of the streaming groups has figured out what is needed to get past the above twist...

Yep - multiple “extreme” trial fights (harder versions of story 8 man fights) fall in a similar category, where the Wandering Minstrel (essentially an avatar of Naoki Yoshida) retells your adventures but embellishes them. Occasionally it’s a simulation handled by some ancient technology, for you to practice and

And just imagine someone over 30 playing a video game?

100% they have. Probably participated in it too.

Sexus Ejectus.

It’s in the opening cinematic first - “Arise now, ye Tarnished. Ye dead who yet live.” It then mentions how “the call of long-lost grace speaks to us all” and then proceeds to name a bunch of individuals who have had that long-lost grace speak to them (and who you mostly meet in the Roundtable Hold, minus a few

The cost of GamePass is less than two full priced first party games a year and you get many more than 2 a year.

Careful doing that with multiple rats/dogs, depending on your weapon speed. Certainly still doable and a good way to get into an invulnerable state to heavily damage or kill one...but some attacks (esp from rats) have a fast second part that often lands before many weapons can get the counter hit in.

The main parts of the fight I honestly didn’t mind (especially with a Bleed weapon, which remains a solid option against numerous bosses)...

Seems to be tied to unlocking 3-4 of the Lost Grace locations. I too was sent there long before I made it to Margit.

Bonus points for if you’re a Street Kid and Jackie starts to tell you about that fact, you call him out on the fact that you’re the one that told him, lol.

They wanted the science-fiction version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Cyberpunk does this weird thing where sometimes all your options are labeled like that...and sometimes they aren’t. Like one in Act 2 where you can fight your way through a guy’s henchmen and then take him out in either guns blazing or stealthy...

Given every fight I’ve seen so far is instantly won if I push any buttons whatsoever, in any order, I’m not learning the slightest thing about playing better.

I mean, if you’re basing it on the meteoric rise and crash of New World, you probably want to familiarize yourself with the differences between the two games. That’s not to say concurrent users won’t drop significantly (I’d be surprised if they didn’t, at least to a degree), but you’re talking about predicting the
