The original Femshep was a poorly textured set of options, just like the non-default Maleshep, just Femshep didn’t have the better textured default option.

I legit had a “the what station?” reaction when I heard about this earlier.

Gotta agree with this.

Oh for fucks sake.

The day/night cycle is partially in - the crowds and traffic get noticeably busier during the day and thin out significantly at night. Not even recent open world games like Watch Dogs Legion remembered to do something like that (they definitely could have...they just didn’t, so London looks the same amount of busy at

As difficult as it is to actually pull off the win for the gun...I don’t even bother with doing it. Just clear them out and take the gun for myself. The job gets cleared off the map either way.

If the bug it was addressing was that Takemura wouldn’t call for some players before patch 1.1...wouldn’t that mean that a game breaking bug already existed?

Final Fantasy 14 — This is a great example of what we should be doing to get the message across—because the initial version was so universally reviled, the entire development team stepped down and the game was rebuilt from scratch with a new one. Yep, bingo.

The “might actually be interesting” stuff was always going to be the later expansion, Blood and Wine level stuff, that will take longer to put together.

Except for the part where that isn’t true - the writing in this game is excellent (and the VA is top notch as well...equivalent to the Bloody Baron stuff from TW3 in most areas of the main story).

At this point I’m just waiting for the inevitable article that says the voice work is somehow not very good at and the performances were amateurish or something to that effect, despite that part being one of the strongest parts of the game (the voice cast ranges from great to stellar - Cherami Leigh as feminine voice

...I’m not sure I’d consider Watch Dogs Legion to have any better world construction, particularly because it is a distorted facsimile of London.

You’re basically saying that any and all games in first person that aren’t in VR made the wrong choice with that analogy.

You mean the “I’m going to stand here, you’re going to stand across from me, and we’ll say sentences at each other for a few minutes” that describes the majority of dialog cutscenes in Witcher 3?

Played the game myself. Quite a bit of it actually - I’m on my second full play through.

How could an argument about peripheral vision, which is an element specific to viewing something in first person, be relevant to using the 3rd person view?

But it’s also not cool in that this doesn’t really work
